Called To Serve

Tanner received his mission call on October 31, 2015.  He had been checking the mail every day since Wednesday and was getting a little frustrated that it wasn't here yet.  He even called the Logan Post Office to see if they would call him when it arrived.  They told him where he could find the postman who delivers to our house.....so he went to The Falls apartments where he was and found him.  He gave him his cell phone number and the postman said he would call when he had it!  Saturday morning on his way to work, the postman called him!  He brought it home and we all started scrambling to get organized to have a Mission Call Opening party!  Tanner invited many friends and family including, Grandma and Grandpa Butler, Harriett Barlows, Kristina and Randy Eck, Larry and Shelly Wright, EJ and Jalene Fillmore and a bunch of friends.  Many family members who do not live around here were on the phone or facetime as well!  Tanner was called the the  Peru Trujillo South Mission and he will report to the Peru CCM on February 9, 2016.

Grandpa Butler captured the event on video--you can watch it here.

We all made our guesses--Paige Bowler guessed Peru and won our basket of goodies!
